Very well articulated Brandon. And I agree that to many times we tend to forget prophecies were written in a different time and world than ours and described things as best they could using things known to them in there time.
to offer an example, I remember listening to a televangelist
once attempting to explain that the locust in Rev. 3-11 were more than likely fighter jets of today. 'head of a man tail of a scorpion. But when you read the scripture you understand that fighter jets could not complete that mission. while at first it sounded interesting, after reading the scripture it was a silly comparison. Harder to believe than scripture.
I like the timing of this post. As I read, a previous conversation kept coming to mind. The line that divides the righteous and the unrighteous…quite like the line that divides the left from the right, or the dems and republicans.
