When Power Uses Opportunity to Take Control

One Event. One Scripture. One Question.

Lately, it’s hard not to notice how casually powerful nations talk about other countries. What’s described as strategy or economics often sounds less like partnership and more like possession. The language may be blunt or subtle, but it leaves the same impression — that people and places are being reduced to assets.

That shift matters. When control is framed as opportunity, it becomes easier to overlook the human cost behind the words.

Scripture Focus:
“Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed.” — Isaiah 10:1

Question for Reflection:
When power is spoken of as entitlement, what helps you recognize when moral lines are being crossed?

I read an article today on trumps board of peace, this is actually going to be international. due to kick in at the end of 2026. It talked about the 10 kings without a kingdom. it named some of these people, but not the full ten, it was a good article to read, nothing really scary, but informative as to where we are headed.. it does state in revelation about the 10 kings.
