When Peace Is Handled by the Powerful

One Event. One Scripture. One Question.

You start to notice it after a while. Powerful countries don’t just talk about other nations — they talk over them. Peace gets discussed in conference rooms, boards get announced, plans get rolled out, and it all sounds very calm and responsible. Meanwhile, the people living there don’t seem to have much say in what that peace looks like.

We’ve seen this pattern before. One nation decides it knows what stability requires, who should oversee it, and what pressure or force might still be necessary if things don’t go as planned. It’s presented as order — but it’s also power consolidating upward.
