These days, the cost of everything is higher. We notice it at the grocery store first. The same items, the same trip — but the total is higher, and you’re not quite sure how it got there. Eating out happens less often, subscriptions get reconsidered, and conversations start including phrases like “Do we really need that right now?” It’s not about luxury; it’s about realizing that everyday life is taking up more of what used to stretch further.
Here in Spain this is having a huge impact. You see the chocolate bar doubling its price within weeks, even special breads, come on, it’s just bread.
The best generation in history in my opinion, that of my parents. They enjoyed the best life quality, before them was the post civil war, after them are we, struggling and not drowning thanks be to Our Lord Jesus Christ.
I see the prices rise as well, I am lucky to have enough money to enjoy the little perks like eating out when I choose to. I tend to order and pick up rather than eat in the restaurant. That started during COVID and now with so many crazy people out there, I choose to spend time at the house. We used to travel to concerts in New Orleans all the time. It is about 90 min. away, but I have not been to a concert in many years over there. I am not sure if I would make it home. I see a lot of articles and news clips with people complaining about prices, but I also notice their nails are done and they have I phones. So I guess it just comes down to what you choose to buy with your money. It is a lot cheaper living in MS than in a lot of other places. My property tax is less than $1000 a year. I see some places it is over $10,000 for the same valued home. Crazy for sure.
Hello from Quebec Canada…it is terrible here for inflation and taxes…food increases daily everything…meat is not affordable 1 chicken from farm raised without antibiotics or other nocif products is 35.00$, alien chickens that nobody knows where they come from 15.00$. One steak good quality around $50.00. Bread cheap $5 to 7.00$ fruits vegetables not affordable they rather throw them away then lower prices…coffee around 1 kg $25.00 forget good brands almost double the price, regular white flour bleached 10 pounds almost 15$ and more and the list goes on. Chocolate we tracked a point that we can only look at it as it is bery very expensive, I buy Cacao and male my own chocolate. Clothes are very expensive, shoes etc. With all the things that we hear about him food is modified many here are scared to even eat. Car license and driving permits and insurance unaffordable…I had a bad car accident and my car was declared total loss cannot get a car not even used as it is so expensive and new cars we need at least $50,000 minimum for a small car simple one nothing special
I am 73 yrs almost and still working because my pensions are not enough to pay for everything…at times I am discouraged…now they tge PM of Canada rumors go around that he wants to remove, cut off our federal pension thst we paid for…I do not know how we will make it until Jesus’return or if we still be alive. We really need to rely on Jesus our Christ because without him we cannot go very far, we are useless and defenseless. I never imagined that I would live in this evil generation ruled by the evil fallen angels as it was in the times of Noah. I was a strong person before when I was younger but now as we get older we are more vulnerable in many situations. The health system is one situation I do not like here in Quebec as the MAID evil program of Euthanasia is applied in first place in hospitals for no matter what age, if you cost too much to the government to be healed cared and cured, they make you believe that there is nothing to do about your health case and propose you Euthanasia. This is scaring a lot of old people who live stressed and when they get sick they do not want to go to the hospital knowing not if they come out alive from the serpent cove.
I pray God our Heavenly Father and Jesus our Saviour to help us his elect that live among ravaging wolves that are disguised as lambs and many of God’s people do not realize in which times we are living in. The times of Noah as Jesus says in Matthew 24. May Jesus bring a revival worldwide and may his elect stand as 2 Chronicles 7:14 invites us to do for God to heal us forgive us and heal our nation. Thank you Rodrigo for your support, I try with all my stregth and courage to remain obedient in God’s Word of Truth but is tiresome because we have to fight all the time. I worked very hard in my life went through a lot of tribulations and my body is tired I guess my spirit too. But I do not give up. I hurt also for many people that need so much help, there is over 2 million people in Quebec living in poverty and the number increases daily. The number of people in Quebec is around 9.2 million approx. May God help us all of his christian nations and have pity of us all and bring back his presence in our christian nations so his glory his laws his commandments and precepts can once again be the official constitutional laws of our nations. Hello Amanda was reading the way of life in the Netherlands, was it hard for you to adjust or still is? Are you there for a permanent time or just a few years? I guess that no matter where you move to, there will always be good things bad things. There is no place on earth that is perfect. Hope that soon, perhaps, God will use you as his ambassadors of his Truth and Kingdom to the residents there and start a Bible group who knows God works in his mysterious ways that are unknown to his elect. Perhaps he inspired you to move there for his purpose that you do not know yet and he will reveal to you in due time. May God our Heavenly Father bless you and protect you along with your family and may Jesus pour his grace mercy and love over your house and your family and use you all for his wonderful work of salvation…his ways are perfect just and mighty…amen
