You know, I never really thought about the evil spirits needing a flesh body to inhabit. Thanks for the post!

Revelations 20:3

cast him into the bottomless pit , and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

So the angels that come with satan in the time of the tribulation are not the fallen angels. This is true. But a rose by any other name is still a rose! And evil is by any other name still evil! Bound, or unbound. Does it say the fallen angels though bound have had a seal set upon them as those shall during the millennium? No! Therefore the fallen angels of time past. Still have the ability to manifest their spirit amongst us as any other! Until any seal says otherwise! IMHO!:+1::point_up::facepunch::innocent:

Todd, welcome to the forum!

Jude 1:6 said, “…hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.” We don’t have the word “seal,” but chains are the locking mechanism, just like the seal, and their locked until Judgement Day. That’s pretty specific.

To your thought,

  1. What’s the point of binding them if their spirit can escape?
  2. Was God punishing a lifeless body, or was God punishing their spirit with chains?

If they are able to leave their body in Heaven, the body becomes lifeless, (James 2:26). So what is the point of being bound in “everlasting chains… unto the judgment of the great day”?

Digging deeper always has it’s rewards.
It’s a comforting and reassuring thought to know those bad boys are fully bound until Judgement Day! Hallelujah! Thanks B.W.
