I think the key is who and what we focus on. As you say Brandon, are we going to identify as being a true Christian or identity politics.
This is what cracks me up about the thinking of the end days. Sooner or later, a certain generation living at that time is going to face it. The problem with the understanding of the prophecy is, most don’t have an inkling how it lays out.
Many don’t think they will be here, and others think it is going to be a turning of a light switch event. They are waiting for someone to say now, instead of understanding the generations of build up to it. Remember the birth pains?
If God is in control, and He picks the leaders of the world, why worry about all the things we can’t control anyway.

Does that mean placing fleshly things over God or using God to justify our fleshly beliefs?

Jesus divided people. Just because Trump does this doesn’t mean he is not right. As for Biden being chosen by God, that is not true at all since he was not legitimately elected. Anyone who wants to argue this point is completely brainwashed. Can God use this situation to bring about His will? Absolutely but to say “selected” leaders are chosen by God is ridiculous.

What does that mean?
It means God “selects,” it means God “choses” who will be in power. It has nothing to do with what you perceive to be a fair election or not. God choses dictators, kings, liberals, conservatives, and so on. Stop distorting Scripture to fit your political beliefs.

This is not about politics. This is about truth. I watched the 2020 election stolen in realtime and I get really tired of people saying it was legitimate. No, it wasn’t God who put that brainless baffoon in office, it was the evil machine that is trying to play God. I’m concerned about the truth and to say all the lies that come from the left is just politics is mindless drivel. I didn’t prove your point at all. All I did was expose the truth. Again, this is not about politics.
Regarding Obama. I think it’s worth investigating all prior elections and especially when they started using machines to flip votes. I doubt it will ever happen though because the justice system is corrupt. They are the fox guarding the hen house. There are evil principalities in high places who play God. I think He allows it but only to make the people repent and turn back to Him.
Bush really lost to al gore. But they needed Bush to help bring in 9/11. Obama admitted there is cheating going on yes. But at the end of the day its to get ppl mad about nothing. I can’t be a normie and watch fox cnn msnbc and get mad. I just laugh at the show. The world is a stage. Look up to the sky trust in God. He’s sitting on the top of the circle looking down at us.

Everyone has “the truth” Ed, but everyone’s truth is different. Isn’t that something? The Bible said God places rulers in power. Ed says there’s an asterisk, only if it’s a “legitimate election.”
For you, it’s absolutely about politics. It’s the only point you’re driving at. You are a fantastic reason why people flee our faith. In your mind, radical lefties out smarted God by rigging the election, and God’s divine intervention couldn’t fix it.

Ed, it seems that your idea of a “fair election” is one in which your candidate of choice wins.
Even if the election was stolen (which it very well might have been), don’t you think God could override it, if He so pleased? Or, is His power limited? Is His hand shortened?
“Then Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, I will be king” (1 Kings 1:5). We all know how this ended. Adonijah was swiftly deposed, and Solomon chosen in his place. Why? Because God had so ordained it.
To your credit, you do mention that God may allow “evil” leaders to prevail as a way to get people repenting and turning to Him. This I agree with. Ahab’s is a prime example (1 Kings 21:25). Now, why can’t God do that with Biden, Obama, or even Trump? We have to remain consistent here.
“Jesus divided people”. Yes, He did. But the Lord’s divisiveness was based on truth and substance (Matthew 10:34), not on mindless, empty rhetoric, as is the case with our political leaders today, Republican or Democrat alike.
Let’s be careful not to get entangled in politics to the neglect of God’s sovereignty over all that happens (Psalm 118:9).

Very good points. Thank you Louis! Those who think the 2020 election was not stolen were not paying attention. Also, those who think the Plandemic wasn’t planned, CONVID wasn’t a hoax and vaccines aren’t the real reason why people are dying are in denial of actual truth. The depopulation agenda does exist. The climate change crisis doesn’t exist. This is all truth, not politics.

I agree with, Jesus divided ppl. That is the point. Is it “politics”(whatever someone means by that) or is it “religion”(belief/phylosophies/ideologies)? Usually it is a religious enmity…not a political(whatever that means). Seems like many fail to understand the real war in earth.

I think it is pretty evident to say that God sets up the leaders of the world. Many come to power from peculiar circumstances, which we might call unfair.
Genesis 50:15-20, Daniel 2:21, 4:17, Job 12:18 -21, Proverbs 21:1, Ezra 6:22, Ezra 7:25-28, John 19:11, Romans 13:1-5.
I tend to see it not as stolen, but not the proper time. If Trump would have taken the WH in 2020, who controlled the House and Senate?
Do we really think the Lord cannot malfunction voting machines? Remember the hanging chads of 2000? If Gore had Trump’s personality, would he have conceded?
Maybe God chose Cyrus to enable the rebuilding of the temple over other nations because they didn’t have the ability to change the EO’s every 4-8 years. Ezra 6:1-5.
If we don’t see Isaiah 3:4-12 happening today, we are missing the forest for the trees.
Has anyone considered why our nation is conjoined with Israel all these years? And why the houses of God today are so clueless saying they are still the chosen? Could it be that the prophecy of Daniel 8:5-7 needs to be brought to fruition? What other nation would do this but us?
Do we really think God does not send spirits here to fulfill His will?
