UK: 50% of people ‘recently visited places which did not accept or discouraged cash’

Can you believe this?

Cashless is the future. Let’s face it, most of us are cashless already. We buy things online and we use plastic in the stores, but at least we have cash options. Personally, I like to use cash, but we use it less frequent since we earn points with plastic.

Everything is setup for cashless and we’re even rewarded for it. We always need to have cash options for personal transactions. No cash, means financial bondage to big brother.

It’s certain though, as time progresses and technology advances, people will continue to move away from cash. How that reminds us of Revelation and ties to the Mark.

Funny thing. Me, my wife, her sister and husband just returned from 14 days in Europe. (Germany, France, Belgium, London). A Christmas market themed tour. Lots of tours and sightseeing as well. The medieval buildings were cool!

What took me by surprise is how much more they include Christ in Christmas compared to here. Everything was “Merry Christmas “, nativity scenes everywhere including in the town squares. It was refreshing to see.
Regarding cash, pretty much the same as here. Some of the smaller markets only accepted cash, but most accepted card too. Tips were cash. The servers, cab drivers, hotel staff, tour guides ALL loved the cash tips. The universal language lol.
Anyway, just sharing some thoughts on our recent trip. Here’s a few pics,

Beautiful pictures! What a fun trip. Love medieval cities, as it gives one a different perspective on life as we know it in the US. Happy to know there’s not a woke agenda on the celebration of Christmas. Cash? Did you exchange for Euros? I guess the dollar is a bit higher? Fluctuates so much. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Martha. Always great to hear from you.
The exchange rate wasn’t favorable for Americans. For every 100 euros it would equal about $120 with exchange rate and fees. We used the pound in London and pretty much the same as the euro.

So the exchange rate was not on our side but the memories we made together are priceless.
Merry Christmas!
