I think this is how the apostacy starts, and it already has.
To follow Christ, we know there is going to be division, even in the family. He told us so. Luke 12:53.
Take the homosexual situation. Do you break bread at holidays with these people and those who support them? 1 Corinthians 5:11-13, 2 Corinthians 6:14, 2 Thess 3:6-15, Ephesians 5:3-11
If you do, they will indoctrinate you. It might take some time, but it will happen. They will slowly wear you down, just like Solomon’s wives did.
They will go after the weakest link first, then another and so on. After while, it becomes normal, just like the shootings we see every day now. You don’t even think twice about it.
I have seen this in my own family. You will be the outsider. It is better to be divided now than later.
