While in Florida during our travels, we discovered that some of the palm trees that live there, also live in some of the nearby island nations. If I recall, even some animals species. We were always fascinated by that! They’re separated by 100-200+ miles.
This came to mind this morning, when I found an article — linked below — about a nearly extinct cactus species that lives in Key West. Interestingly enough, this cactus is also found in Cuba and the Bahamas!
So what does that tell us about our world?
It tells me, that it seems more than likely, earth as a Pangea was a reality at one point in time. In fact, some of the extinct animals that once lived in North America — millions of years ago — are also found in other parts of the world (also extinct). The same exact species.
How could that be, unless the world changed dramatically?
It always peaked my interest when I consider the Bible, and “the world that then was,” (2 Peter 3:6).
