As you said, we receive the leaders we deserve.
I equate it to the gifts and treats you give your children. If the children honor, respect and show obeyance to their parents, they usually receive special favors and blessings. Why wouldn’t they?
Problem is today, it is reversed. They want the gifts and special treatment first, no matter how they act. More households are run this way, and we can see in society, that doesn’t work. Tantrum after tantrum.
The Lord does not work that way. Deuteronomy 28:1… isn’t just a suggestion.
Jeremiah 3:12, Isaiah 55:7.
Only then will we receive a Hezekiah type instead of an Ahab of the world.

many people don’t see any differences, and they tend to not vote—not make a choice. One has to consider that our Father does not make our choices for us…and the mere fact that He sets up kings and so forth, should not negate that He does know His children and literal gave us our spirit. Getting wrapped up in the gamesmanship, or the ballgames such as one does rooting for their team, doesn’t make that person ignorant. For the most part…partisan politics (not governing body), is actually a religious war…some will sit that out, others will not.
