The term ‘double minded’ is used often in the new testament negatively. Is it as simple as someone who ‘say’s’ one thing but ‘does’ another?
This ties into, “things are not as they seem”.
People say one thing, but when the pressure is on, or it will cost them friends, family relationships etc., they fold.
Not saying it isn’t hard, but if you fold now, you will later.
