It’s so true.

I recall in the 90s my Dad saying they don’t make things how they used too. I’ve been saying the same thing for a couple decades and it just gets worse. It’s to the point, where I don’t even recognize brands anymore. All the former brands have been replaced by China brands.

It’s terrible.

Hold on to vintage appliances and such. Sure, it may cost more to fix them than to buy a piece of new garbage out on the market, but it will last longer!

I still have a Kenmore fridge, freezer, and dryer that my parents bought decades ago still going strong.

Remember when Sears was the go to place for appliances???

Yes! Heck, go back a little further and you could buy a house from Sears! And many of them are still standing today!!

I remember Sears, most of my appliances came from there. Anything new breaks in no time. I think they make them that way anymore so you have to keep buying new ones. It’s a shame.
