We usually wait til after Thanksgiving, but this year how about a little early pep in our step?
Here at home, we started a few days ago, so I figured I better do it for the community as well.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas everyone!
Haha! Merry Christmas! My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving though, so I’m going to wait until after that weekend to think about the Christmas season.
I love me some Turkey and the trimmings, so you have a point here.
Sorry, it’s the glutton in me.
We are skipping it this year again. I do love the neighbors across the street though - traditional with no LED lights - plain and simple. I’ll have to catch a picture this year to share with y’all!
Oh geez…edited to add that I just noticed the Christmas lights on the website.
Hi All. Where is it written in the Scripture to keep this festival or is it like Thanksgiving?
Welcome Jan. If you would like to learn about the biblical celebration of Christmas, and the conception of Jesus, Brandon has several studies on this. Use the WEB search.
The Thanksgiving holiday, ( which is not biblical) as we know, is a celebration of the first settlers of our country at Plymouth Rock and the Indian tribes that lived there. Coming together and breaking bread. (And turkey - don’t know for sure if there were turkeys, but glad we have them now!)
Although I love Christmas, the commercialization of it has soured me. However, I love Thanksgiving because our family and friends gather to eat and feast and just be thankful for all of our Father’s blessings.
Happy Thanksgiving! Merry Christmas to follow!!
Thank you Martha. I will celebrate Thanksgiving with your family any day but not Christmas. I kept it before but after some study, I cancelled that festival. I will have a look at Brandon’s studies.
