“Running for the tin foil?” Saying this tells more about you than you currently understand. Your reference to the “tin foil” means that we who believe Bible doctrine are “conspiracy theorists” who wear “tin foil hats” and such responses demonstrate your dislike of the Doctrine of Imminence or the Rapture of the church.
It is also called ad hominem attack or criticizing the person who holds such views which differ from your own. It is also a form of passive/aggressive behavior and demonstrates your desperation of holding to your own view rather than looking deeply and carefully into another’s which is obviously been the case for you, resisting not only the truth of Bible doctrine but RIDICULING IT.
You didn’t read any of the comments which I wrote, and if you insist that you had read them, it is clear that you merely skimmed them and didn’t CONSIDER them for if you did, you would have given Bible references which support your own view the lack of which is also disingenuous in matters of debate.
In all my debating this subject over the years, the Rapture deniers share several key points; the IGNORE 1 Thessalonians and 1 Corinthians 15:51; they use only Matthew 24 (which is textually obvious that it isn’t written to us in the age of Grace but to the Jews during the time of tribulation) and no other Scripture to back up their assertions.
The Bible doctrines which we, as faithful believers in Jesus Christ understand are SCATTERED throughout Scripture and are embedded in types and shadows from Genesis to Revelation; " For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: Isaiah 28:10
With all of this in mind, if you are interested in debating this or any other Bible topic with me, I would be happy to engage in civil, respectful dialogue. As I said earlier, I am head over heels in love with the TRUTH. It is what I live for. How can one learn the truth of any matter unless they understand BOTH SIDES of the debate?
