Hooray, Diwali is a new holiday!

Lord have mercy, if I don’t keep up the humor, my head will spin off! :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Diwali is a holiday celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, and some Buddhists. In the name of DEI, that’s “diversity, equality, and inclusion” for you non-wokies, NYC is giving the kiddos a new day off. That’s right, public schools get a day off to honor a heathen holiday.

Now, I know what you’re thinking next!..

How many Diwali type folk are even in NYC?

I’m glad you asked WEB faithful!

We don’t know, and neither does the census. However, they say 200,000 people celebrate this holiday out of a city of 8.8 million.

So I whipped out my handy dandy calculator, and that means, 2% of the population celebrates Diwali. Yep, they changed it all for a meager 2%.

What else is new?

We have to giggle or your right,we lose our minds!!
