What’s everyone thoughts on Halloween?

Just another day to distract the youth from what is important.
Some churches now call it a fall festival which I don’t agree with. Trying to entice the masses to come through the door.
It goes along the lines of renaming Easter to Resurrection Sunday, still on the wrong day and nonsense thrown in.
Why not lead as Christ did, then they would follow.

It kind of makes me ill. Okay, it does make me ill…I see more and more Halloween decorations every year…and more gore. Great for kids…

Brandon has done a great study on this - I think maybe last year. Of course, don’t agree with it or celebrate. In our neighborhood, it’s astounding how much money people have put into decorating with witches, tombstones, spiders, ghosts etc. The police also close some of the roads for a few hours to let kids and adults come through to collect candy. It’s ridiculous. As for us, we turn off the lights and hope no one knows we’re home.
