Maybe I am not the businessperson I thought I was but, why would you want to raise the debt ceiling along with a spending cut to offset it?
If the spending cuts are put in place, the ceiling can stay where it is. If anything, it should be lowered with a surplus left over to pay off debt.
Why does Trump insist on needing a higher ceiling? Or none at all?
If the first bill was reduced from 1547 to 118 pages, to eliminate the pork, why must the ceiling be raised to borrow more money to pay the already amount borrowed?
