I said I posted it before, here it is again…
2 Thess 2 in the above post.
But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Ok which verse shows the rapture in 2 thes 2? So Jesus comes 2 times or what?
2 Thessalonians 2:9
[9]Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
Who is him?
Yes but it says they were in the faith now not
You don’t ask Jesus into your heart. You believe in him and trust him. If a 9 year old is mentally capable of that comprehension then yes they are born again, eternally.
First verse.

They knew of the faith, but were obviously not truly believing/trusting in Jesus.
Yes Jesus will come to earth a second time ‘with power and great glory’. Where every eye shall see him and mourn.
Prior to that he will come for his Bride, where we shall meet him in the air for the Rapture. (He doesn’t land on the earth).
him in 2-Thessalonians-2-9/ is the AC.
The bible is clear on how to be saved. If we admit we are a sinner and in need of a Saviour all we need do is believe in the Lord Jesus…
28But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.
30And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Well folks, eat drink and be merry. Covet your neighbor, steal his stuff, lay with his wife, scam, scam, scam.
Just believe.
Ok so it says trump. Which trump does this happen at? And is this the 1st or 2nd time he comes?
Well it says they were in. Meaning. A Christian.
How will every eye see him?
A few days ago, I was speaking to someone about those who think that once they’re saved, repentance no longer applies to them. According to Scripture, that isn’t what Paul told the church at Corinth:
II Corinthians 12:20: For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:
21 And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.
What is it that Paul and Silas said to the Philippian jailor in Acts 16 that you find offensive?
It seems repentance is widely believed to mean, regret of your sins. This cannot be correct as God ‘repented’ in the book of Jonah… And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
Therefore repentance must have a different meaning as God cannot sin. Though highly encouraged and recommended turning from your sin is works. And we are not saved by works, even though most false Christians would have you believe works is an integral part of salvation.
Repent in the Greek μετάνοια, metanoia actually translates as a “change of mind”, “conversion” or “repentance”.
When we come to admit we are sinners and in need of a Saviour we have a change of mind, and believe the Gospel; (repent) going from unbelief to belief. Whereupon we are promised a cleansing by the blood of Christ for all of our sins, past present and future. (When Christ died all our sins were in the future) and eternal life.
So to clarify, all are sins have been removed as far as the east is from the west, and eternal life means without end. No one can pluck us out from His hand, not even ourselves. We are SAVED once and for all. Once Saved Always Saved. Otherwise eternal wouldn’t mean eternal.
The verse you showed is where Paul in humility is calling for them to have a change of mind over their sinful sexual immorality actions in the church. A reflection of todays church no doubt.
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Jon 3:10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God REPENTED of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
H5162 - A primitive root; properly to sigh, that is, breathe strongly; by implication to be sorry, that is, (in a favorable sense) to pity, console or (reflexively) rue; or (unfavorably) to avenge (oneself): - comfort (self), ease [one’s self], repent (-er, -ing, self).
Joh 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
Act 16:32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
In your view, after believing, the word is not needed. There is no need to put on the gospel armor, Revelation was a waste of John’s time. Those supposedly raptured don’t need to read it and those who don’t "believe wouldn’t want to.
Mar 1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
One thing you have taught and convinced me, and I am sure others, that Yes, you did come to the wrong place.
From G3340; (subjectively) compunction (for guilt, including reformation); by implication reversal (of [another’s] decision): - repentance.
From G863; freedom; (figuratively) pardon: - deliverance, forgiveness, liberty, remission.
Exactly!..Confirming my point that it does not mean turn from your sins in relation to salvation.
Notice also in Jon 3:10 that turning from your sin is ‘WORKS’. And we know we are not saved by works… 8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Thank you.
