Do Animals Go To Heaven?

Full article at: Do Pets Go To Heaven? | World Events and the Bible

Our pets are so dear to us, but what happens when they pass away, and will we see them again? Scripture doesn’t offer many details, but it does provide a glimpse.

You’re forgetting the most poignant truth in the written word that proves animals will be in Heaven. Romans 8:21:

“Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.”

Romans 8:18-25 says much more about this but you know what is truly sad about this? ALL new versions replace the word CREATURE with the word CREATION thus pluralizing it! That change to His written word removes the hope we have by this most critical text about our reuniting with our beloved pets.

Furthermore, we know that God is LOVE and He loves US and He also loves His CREATURES. Look at the care with which He made them all! Look at the awesome care He gave to the Starling, the Myna bird and many other birds with the ability to mimic human speech and other sounds.

He knew before the foundation of the world that we would love the animals He made and get very close to many millions of them over history, domesticating them and becoming emotionally attached to them. What else would a loving God do but PERFECT them along with us and give them back to us for ETERNITY? And here is the proof, only found in the KJV! If this was the ONLY reason to love the KJV over the many watered down versions it would be enough but there are so many more, a topic for another discussion.

I believe this too. All breath comes from God. Our animals love and they grieve and they joy and they consider and they choose within the limits their Creator made them. At flesh death of an animal all animation of that LIFE returns to the One Who made them in some fashion, how it’s not Written specific…but I believe we will recognize that life. This is so fitting and touched my heart. I hope youtubes are allowed. It’s short. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/fNMwpsWYEug?feature=share
What the captions read are this:
Today my dog and I went to the beach, and I caught her taking it all in…
“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” Psalm 150:6

I’ve had 3 dogs (not counting family dog growing up) I said goodbye to two of them already. The grief at the loss of a beloved pet is profound. It changes you. But knowing that when our earthly bodies are changed (very very soon now) that all of our pets will ALSO receive new bodies, PERFECT bodies.

My mental image of this is that of me standing in my redeemed body, after the joyous meeting with Jesus and all my brothers and sisters, (not sure how long after that meeting) and my first dog, Muncie, a very cute, loyal and sweet mixed breed I rescued in 1999, suddenly spotting me, ears up, his wrinkled head cocked to one side, standing and looking intently as if he couldn’t believe it was me but finally realized who it was. Tail wagging and smiling BIG, whining with joy as he runs up to me, so very happy to see me again (had him 14 years; lost him 12 years ago) he jumps on me, licking my face (with perfectly clean breath and still with a black tongue from his Chow Chow parts!) That tearful reunion was suddenly met with my next dog…

A pure bred Great Dane, All black except for a white streak on her chest, (lost her 4 years ago) comes very similarly and jumps up on my shoulders knocking me down and licking me with her big, clean tongue, both dogs now perfected and whole.

And I mustn’t leave out my childhood dog, a beagle/basset hound who will be there too. My current dog is still with me so if I leave her here she will be devastated. I grieve when I think of that. But this is in God’s hands. He may have a separate Rapture for animals perhaps at a different time, IDK.

And as I meet all my brothers and sisters in unspeakable glory, I meet all my other pets, Bud E. Bird, a Cockatiel who I had for 17 years will fly up to meet me, ferrets, (10 in all, 2 still with me) gerbils, (just two) hamsters, (3 all told) even ratties (three of those poor stereotyped and neglected members of God’s animal Kingdom but who also make GREAT pets; full of personality, affection and intelligence but they die much too soon, one or two years max) and my beloved Salamander, Sylvester who I had as a child (I loved him very much). These “lesser” pets somehow seem harder to imagine but God will work it out His way.

I believe by Romans 8:21 that every animal that ever lived, even and especially those that died in the flood, will have a place in perfection with God in Whom all things are possible! Our linear, limited thinking causes us to think along these lines… “but all those animals would need so much room!” We and they will be in a NEW dimension, one far above our 3 dimensional realm of length, width and height (and depth, according to Paul, breadth, and length, and depth, and height; Ephesians 3:18)

I used to come here sharing the Biblical TRUTH about the pre-tribulation Rapture of the church and I haven’t been here for a while but I still get notifications. I liked this topic and wanted to share the truth of the KJV being the ONLY Bible which tells us the truth about the animals and their place in Heaven.
