You know, a lot of people think they have to transform themselves from their sinful state into this perfect person before they come to God. They think they have to clean up all their sin, on their own no less, before ever talking to God. Nothing could be further from the truth.

“Be ye perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” Now, get ready to hear all the excuses. Standing up for your imperfections (sins) doesn’t help anybody - and that idea may cause the unrepentant person a lost life.
