People can’t afford housing and now food.

Hey, how did that go again?

It’s 2030, I own nothing and couldn’t be happier.

We’re there.

  • A Lending Tree survey found 25% of buy now, pay later users are funding grocery purchases with the loans, up from 14% in 2024.
  • The survey said 41% of respondents said they made a late payment on a BNPL loan in the past year, up from 34% in the year prior.

Every time we go to the grocery store the wife has to hit me with a blow dart when I look at the prices. :zany_face:

To me, groceries are basic, DoorDash is a perk…

I can say, we buy nearly everything with a credit card, but we pay off the debt each month. We play the cash back game. If people are broke but using DoorDash, I’d say they’re not really broke. :joy:

yes…it climaxed for me, early 2024…getting a little relief now as the last item that increased for me was in Oct 2024(my ADT, which had not risen in years). Have gotten raises on couple small retirements in Jan 2025
