What about Matthew 10:37?
“He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.”
Jesus has to be number 1 in your life, not fame. We know people by their fruit.

No ifs or ‘buts’.
Either you believe in Jesus for salvation or you don’t. I find those who do not place all their trust in Christs finished work on the cross twist scripture to suit their own version of salvation, which is to project themselves into the salvation process giving themselves credit for what Christ alone accomplished.
So be very careful my friend, ensure you are truly saved by placing your trust in Christ alone for salvation. For anyone who tries to come to the Father by any other way is the same as a thief and a robber. John 10:1.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?..And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: Matt 7:22-23
‘Repent’ Does not mean repent of your sins, it means a change of mind, going from the laws to faith in Christ to be perfected. As we certainly are unable to do it by our own efforts, and if we could why would God send His Son to be so terribly hurt & killed for us?
Im confused. So once i believe Jesus died on the cross then im locked in sealed forever ?
We are called to be holy, crucify the old self in Christ by His word.
1 Peter 1:13-16 (Called to be holy)
1 Timothy 6:9-11
2 Timothy 2:22
1 Thess 4:7, 5:18-22
2 Corinthians 5:15-17
1 Timothy 9:8-11, 4:16 (Use law for schoolmaster)
Galatians 3:12, 24-25 (Not judged by law but need to live by it)
1 Corinthians 5:11-13 (If we aren’t to keep company, why would God)
2 Thess 2:3 (This describes many of the modern churches today)
Hebrews 6:4-6 (You either had it or threw it away)
Matthew 7:20
Galatians 5:18-23 (You can’t live by the spirit and continue to willfully sin going against the word of God. The spirit would not lead anyone in these things and still be covered by the blood on the cross. This makes a mockery of the precious gift we were offered)
Faith is what saves you. (Belief & Trust in Jesus of the Bible). Nothing more nothing less.
James 2:17-19
[17]Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
[18]Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
[19]Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
Once saved by the blood of Jesus we will come to want to live a clean and just life (Through the working of the Holy Spirit, which can take longer to many). Though do not confuse these things as required tenets for salvation. They certainly are not, and anyone who twists scripture in order for you to believe they are should be avoided or better confronted.
If we are honest with ourselves we all continue to wilfully sin. Scripture itself says anyone who says he is without sin deceives himself and the truth is not in him. 1 John 1:8 It even goes on to say if we say that we have not sinned we make God a liar. There may be times where we sin without knowing it, but those times pale into the mire compared to sinning wilfully. (If we are brutally honest wit ourselves).
I have found that those who follow wrong doctrine always follow a mans teaching. Whereas, those who diligently rely on the scriptures never get caught up in works based salvation (Lordship). Or if they do they soon realise, and get back on track.
Many saved Christians unfortunately have dead faith as their works are pitifully little. Luckily dead faith isn’t dead salvation. It just implies their faith is not productive or beneficial to others here in this life.
Ok that’s cool that’s your baptist pastor translation, but im gonna need some Bible verses.
So beyonce will be in heaven?
Not sure what ‘baptist pastor translation’ implies. All what I say comes from the KJV Bible. I don’t subscribe to any particular denomination. I have a relationship with Jesus and read his Word.
In which you’ll find … But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness..
That’s cool I’m just asking for Bible verses that back your opinion.
Ok can you explain the verse?
I see it as beyonce is going to heaven. I can go join the occult and I’ll still make it.
Also verses for the rapture? What happens if a Christian takes the mark of the beast?
Not my opinion (which means nothing). Bible facts.
Here is another… Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law..
You are entangling works (obedience) with grace.
I am unable to see who is going to heaven and who isn’t. Sometimes I think I know, but only God truly knows what is in a mans heart.
As I alluded to prior those of us who have accepted Jesus would feel wholly uncomfortable joining the occult, otherwise the Holy Spirit wouldn’t be doing his job. Yet who is to say there are some that ride through it no matter how uncomfortable?
All Christians will be removed before the AC turns up. So it is impossible for a Christian to take the mark of the beast,
Many will refuse and will be beheaded for their testimony of Jesus, they are the ‘Tribulation Saints’.
But if you believe and that’s all it takes. The verse says no works. So i can lie cheat kill join the occult and im Good i believe
Which verse says that
Matthew 7 says it will know them by thier fruits. So i know ones who had holy fruits then fall backs and join satans side. Now thier fruits are of satan.
Like I said you can, as you already sin, tho you will be convicted by the Holy Spirit and chastised by the Father.
