Drat! I seem to have come to the wrong place again.

Totally agree Kay.

If we are truly in Christ then we have the Holy Spirit indwelling in us who guides and helps us. Our helper. If we’ll let him.

He seals us until the day of redemption. He impels us to love God and love our fellow man. (Christs Commands). If we have the Holy Spirit we are led to live as close to Christ as we can, like you say Kay. Unless we ignore him.

God bless you, and all here, and I join you in prayer for the ‘Father for guidance and understanding as we walk this earth in the flesh.’

Amen.

Hello Teresa,

Thank you for the verses, though I believe those of us who are saved, will be snatched out of the way ‘Raptured’ as the wrath of God is literally poured out on a rebellious world with the main focus on Israel (Jacob’s Trouble).

There are various passages I use to confirm my belief of a pre-trib snatching away of the church such as where Paul tells of Christ coming to take his church to heaven to be with him always… 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17. Why would he say to comfort one another with these words if we were about to be exposed to all the horrors of Gods wrath during the tribulation? Paul had to console the church that they had not missed the rapture in… 2 Thessalonians 2:1-2. Also there is no mention of the church on earth after Revelation 3.

John 17:15 is not talking of the tribulation period, he is addressing all believers who will suffer persecution & hardship in general for their belief in Christ.
